Dried Tremella Mushrooms

Bring a distinctive ingredient to your kitchen with dried Tremella mushrooms, known for their delicate, ruffled appearance and soft, silky texture when rehydrated. Also called snow fungus or silver ear mushroom, Tremella is used in a range of Asian sweet and savoury preparations.

Flavour and texture

Tremella has a mild flavour that pairs well with broths, soups, desserts and other recipes where its tender, gelatinous texture can shine.

How to prepare

Rinse thoroughly to remove any grit. Soak in warm water for around 30 minutes, or until softened, keeping the mushrooms submerged. Drain, remove the firm centre if present, and tear into smaller pieces. Cook thoroughly in your chosen recipe. Follow the preparation directions on the product packaging.

Pack sizes

Choose a 25 g pack or a 50 g pack of dried Tremella mushrooms.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Refer to the product packaging for the best-before date and full storage instructions.

Explore in your kitchen

Try dried Tremella in Asian-style soups, sweet soups, broths, desserts and other recipes that suit its delicate texture.

OUR QUALITY JOURNEY: It begins with Indian lab testing as per FSSAI standards, ensuring every pack meets strict safety and quality criteria. Only premium, A-grade exotic dried mushrooms make the cut. Each batch is thoroughly cleaned, carefully handled, and thoughtfully packed, sourced through trusted and responsible partners.

STORAGE AND SHELF-LIFE: Store in a cool and dry place in an air-tight container away from direct sunlight. These mushrooms are simply dehydrated, without any preservatives or additives, giving them a naturally extended shelf-life of up to one year

REHYDRATION INSTRUCTIONS: Quickly rinse the mushrooms in cold water, then soak them in hot water for 30 minutes, placing a lid or plate on top to gently press them down. This helps the mushrooms absorb water evenly. Drain and gently squeeze out any excess water — they’re now ready to use in your recipes.
Tip: The soaking water is nutrient-rich and can be used to prepare soups, stews, tea, or incorporated directly into your recipes.
For a simple, step-by-step guide, watch the video provided on this page.

WEIGHT AFTER REHYDRATION: After rehydration, the weight of the dried mushrooms increase to more than double their original weight.
